Alhambra Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL
Alhambra was Dane’s first renovation project, so it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Built in 1959 at almost 1300 SF, It was a complete gut: all new plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roof, kitchen, bathrooms, drywall… there wasn’t anything Dane didn’t replace in this house. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into this project, and it’s turned out to be a great investment! Our favorite part about this house is the open floor plan. Alhambra is now one of our rental properties, located in a solid neighborhood with great schools nearby.
Providence Street, Fort Myers, FL
Bringing a historic 1921 American Foursquare back to its former glory. This historic Fort Myers home had been neglected for the past 5 years, but it had great bones. Underneath the filth and cobwebs, it had a lot of potential, but it definitely needed a heavy dose of TLC. With gorgeous trim, cased openings and original woodwork, this foursquare boasts beautiful craftsman features throughout. Soft, neutral tones are complimented with colorful artwork and patterned rugs to create a classic feel. One of our favorite focal points is the fireplace in the living room. Kristen chose to use tumbled Chicago bricks to add texture and color, giving this room a timeless charm.

A fix-and-flip in Fort Myers, Florida. Bought on auction, this home had been deserted and was in need of revival. We updated the bathrooms, repaired the pool, added a new roof, pavers, fresh paint, updated the bathrooms and more.
North Ave, Barrington, IL
The farmhouse where it all began! Kristen helped her dad restore this classic cutie in the heart of the village of Barrington, IL. They painted the exterior to match the historic tri-color scheme, restored the original doorbell, raised the ceiling on the first floor, uncovered and refinished the original pine floors, and planted a beautiful garden full of hydrangeas.
